Becky Genberg's research focuses broadly on HIV prevention in resource-poor settings. Her interests include the application of mixed methods approaches in improving the implementation of HIV treatment-as-prevention and understanding the social and structural determinants of health and health behaviors in marginalized communities.

Dr. Genberg is an Assistant Professor (Research) in the Department of Health Services, Policy and Practice. She received her PhD in Epidemiology from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in 2010 and an MPH also from Johns Hopkins in 2002. Dr. Genberg completed post-doctoral training in the Department of Health Services, Policy and Practice at Brown University in 2012.
