ARNOLD LUDWIG

In "The Price of Greatness" (Guilford Press, 1995), I examine the relationship between exceptional creative achievement and mental illness. In a later study, "King of the Mountain: The Nature of Political Leadership" (University Press of Kentucky, 2002, 2004), I examine the personality characteristics, childhoods and mental stability of six kinds of rulers to pinpoint the chief predictors of later political success..
