	Rebecca Weitz-Shapiro A. Alfred Taubman Center for Public Policy & American Institutions Political Science, Department of Rebecca Weitz-Shapiro's research interests include comparative political institutions, federalism and decentralization, and the political economy of development. In particular, she is interested in variation in the quality of representation and accountability within democratic governments in the developing world. Her current book project explores the determinants of variation in the use of clientelism across Argentine municipalities.
