Rochelle Rosen, Ph.D., is a medical anthropologist and an Assistant Professor (research) at the Centers for Behavioral and Preventive Medicine at The Miriam Hospital and in the Department of Behavioral and Social Sciences of the Warren Alpert Medical School. She is also affiliated faculty at the International Health Institute of Brown University. Her research interests are focused in two areas: 1) HIV-prevention for women via vaginal microbicide acceptability; and 2) preventive health care issues in the South Pacific island of American Samoa. She has a particular specialty in using qualitative research methods for translational health research in behavioral medicine. |
