| Nitsan Chorev's research focuses on the politics of neoliberalism and globalization. Her book, Remaking U.S. Trade Policy: From Protectionism to Globalization (Cornell, 2007), explains how supporters of liberal trade successfully promoted free-trade policies against protectionist opposition. Her new book, The World Health Organization Between North and South (Cornell, forthcoming) looks at the policies promoted by the World Health Organization (WHO) during the call for a New International Economic Order in the 1970s and the under neoliberalism in the 1990s to investigate how international organizations respond to exogenous pressures. |
