Dr. J. Dawn Abbott is an interventional cardiologist in the Division of Cardiology at Rhode Island Hospital. She is an attending physician in the coronary care unit. Her clinical and research interests involve percutaneous coronary and peripheral interventions. She studies the importance of several factors such as demographic and angiographic characteristics on outcomes in percutaneous interventions as well as the clinical utility of platelet function testing in patients with coronary artery disease.
