Professor Guralnik's research is in the area of Elementary-Particle Theory (quantum theory of fields, numerical quantum field theory and computational algorithms). Professor Guralnik came to Brown from the University of Rochester, where he had been a postdoctoral research associate. He also carried on research at Imperial College, London, under an National Science Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship after receiving his Ph.D. from Harvard. He is a Fellow of the American Physical Society and was an Alfred P. Sloan Research Foundation Fellow.
