DONALD MCCLURE

Donald McClure does research in the areas of image processing and computer vision, ill-posed inverse problems, and analysis of image sequences such as occur in film or progressive video. Current work includes the relationship between optimization problems for discrete probabilistic models of images and continuous variational counterparts of these problems that lead to PDEs. He is also working on methods of nonlinear function approximation that relate to image compression.
