Dr. Muhanned Abu-Hijleh finished his Internal Medicine residency and fellowship in Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine from The Brown Alpert Medical School. He did additional training in Interventional Pulmonaology. His clinical and reserach interests include Interventional Pulmonology, thoracic malignancies and pleural disorders in addition to general pulmonary and critical care medicine. He is interested in bronchoscopic management approaches for emphysema. Dr. Abu-Hijleh is the director of Interventional Pulmonology at Rhode Island Hospital.
