Edward Wing's research interests are focused on the immune host defenses against intracellular pathogens such as Listeria monocytogenes and Mycobacterium tuberculosis. He also has a strong clinical interest in infectious diseases, HIV, and international health.

Dr. Wing, is a magna cum laude graduate of Williams College (BA in chemistry) and a cum laude alumnus of Harvard Medical School. He completed his internship and residency at the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital in Boston and an infectious diseases fellowship at Stanford University.
