| Susan Ramsey's research focuses on the confluence of psychiatric, substance use, and medical issues. She currently serves as principal investigator on three National Institutes of Health (NIH)-funded studies: testing a brief alcohol intervention for depressed patients who drink heavily, developing and testing an intervention to prevent depression among methadone maintenance patients receiving treatment for hepatitis C, and developing and testing an HIV risk intervention for pregnant drug users. |
