STEVEN CLEMENS

Faculty in the Earth Systems History Group (ESH) use the marine and terrestrial geologic record to understand the dynamics of global climate change on all time scales, ranging from decades to millions of years. Professor Steve Clemens' research focuses on Milankovitch to centennial-scale climate change within the Neogene, with an emphasis on the Indian and Asian monsoon regions.

Biography

Steve Clemens recieved his Ph.D. in Marine Geology at Brown University in May, 1990. Hired as an adjunct lecturer at Brown in 1992, Steve was promoted to Associate Professor of Research in 2005. He currently works with the Earth Systems History research group within the Department of Geological Sciences.
