STEPHANIE RAVILLON

Stéphanie Ravillon has been engaged in research that examines questions of identity and self in the post-colonial world. She has published articles on cultural and linguistic hybridity, as well as on memory and the (re)writing of history. Her current interests include: contemporary French language, culture and society; second language acquisition; teaching with technology; and translation.

Biography

Stéphanie Ravillon graduated from the University of Burgundy, France, with a Ph.D in English in 2002.
She has taught in the Department of French Studies at Brown since 2003.
