As artisic director of Brown/Trinity Playwrights Repertory Theatre, I'm responsible each year for the development of three new plays. The 2006 season includes POWER OF SAIL by Paul Grellong, IGGY WOO by Alice Tuan, and SPEECH & DEBATE by Stephen Karam, which I'll direct. On leave in Los Angeles in the fall of 2006, I will be researching/writing Civil War screenplay, shadowing film/TV directors in preparation for teaching an enhanced "Acting for Camera" course, and continuing research for a text on writing/performing solo.
