Biography

Hernando Ombao is joining the Community Health (Biostatistics) and its Center for Statistical Sciences as an associate professor. He is well known nationally and internationally as an expert in statistical methods for the analysis of multivariate, non-stationary time series data. His theoretical work is strongly motivated by research problems arising in his extensive interdisciplinary work in the neuroscience.
