Biography

Hernando Ombao is Associate Professor of Community Health (Biostatistics). He attended Philippine Science High School (1981-1985); obtained a B.S. degree in Mathematics at the University of the Philippines (1989); M.S. degree in Statistics from the University of California-Davis (1995); Ph.D. degree in Biostatistics from the University of Michigan (1999). Prior to joining Brown, he held faculty positions at the University of Pittsburgh (1999-2002) and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2002-2007).
